Terms of Use

Votto is an opinion map. You can answer Takes, compare your answers with aggregate results, unlock lenses, save your map, and optionally generate private Reads, including First Read and paid Deep Read features.

Votto is for exploration, comparison, and reflection. It is not a scientific poll, professional advice, financial advice, medical advice, legal advice, or an eligibility decision system.

Results on Votto reflect people who chose to answer Votto questions. Votto does not currently use representative sampling or weighting. Do not cite Votto results as representative public opinion unless Votto explicitly labels a future study with a reviewed methodology.

You may use parts of Votto anonymously, but some features require an account. Creating an account lets you save your map with email and password. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

If you enter Votto through a source or share link, Votto may associate your activity with that source and link for aggregate analytics.

You are responsible for the answers and information you submit. Lens prompts are voluntary unless a specific feature clearly explains why an answer is needed. If you skip a lens prompt, you may not unlock that lens.

Votto may use your submitted answers to show aggregate distributions, compare lenses above privacy thresholds, build your personal map, attribute answers to source contexts, improve feed ranking, and generate a First Read or Deep Read when you explicitly ask.

First Read and Deep Read use AI and only run when you ask. They are generated from a limited package of your saved answers, your provided lens answers, relevant source context, prior Read context where relevant, and privacy-safe aggregate comparisons sent to an AI service provider.

Reads are exploratory reflections, not objective assessments, diagnoses, predictions, professional advice, or eligibility decisions. They may be incomplete, imperfect, or phrased in ways you disagree with.

Votto may offer paid plans, including Plus and future plans. Paid plans may unlock Deep Read or other paid features described at checkout or in the product.

Checkout, payment method handling, invoices, taxes, renewals, cancellations, and subscription management are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew until canceled. Prices, billing intervals, limits, and included features are shown at checkout or in the product and may change for future billing periods as allowed by law.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through the billing portal where available or by contacting us. If you cancel or downgrade, paid access continues or ends according to the billing status Stripe reports to Votto. Unless Votto states otherwise, fees are not refundable except where required by law.

Votto may show aggregate results, source-attributed comparisons, and lens comparisons. Source attribution means an answer came through a particular source, link, campaign, or context. It does not prove membership in a community or audience.

Results may be delayed, suppressed, or shown as forming until privacy thresholds and policy rules are met. Creators, partners, and sponsors may receive aggregate, thresholded, provenance-labeled results only. They may not receive individual answer histories, raw lens answers, anonymous IDs, session IDs, billing identifiers, First Reads, or Deep Reads.

You agree not to misuse Votto, including by:

• trying to identify individual users from aggregate results;
• scraping, copying, or reselling Votto data without permission;
• interfering with security, rate limits, billing, or normal operation;
• submitting unlawful, abusive, infringing, or deceptive content;
• using Votto to make high-impact decisions about other people;
• misrepresenting Votto results as representative polling.

You may delete your data or account through settings where available or by contacting us. Registered users with verified email may export their data where available. Deletion and export behavior is described in the Privacy Policy.

Votto is not directed to children under 13. By using Votto, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 13, do not use Votto or submit information.

Votto is an early product. We may add, remove, redesign, limit, or pause features as the product evolves. We may also suspend access if necessary for security, abuse prevention, maintenance, legal reasons, billing issues, or product integrity.

Votto is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result, lens, First Read, or Deep Read will be accurate, complete, or useful for your particular purpose.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Votto after changes means you accept the updated terms.
